Khataiyan
Ingredients:
Flour 1 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup (half cup)
Plain Butter 3/4 cup
Egg Yolk 1
Yellow food colour a pinch
Cooking Directions:
Grind the sugar.
Mix flour, sugar and butter and make a firm dough.
Make small flat balls and press a little from centre with finger's tip and place on a greased baking tray.
Mix food colour and egg yolk.
After 10 minutes, pour a bit of egg yolk mixture in the little hole made by your finger's tip .
Bake in the oven at 200 degrees F for more 5 minutes.
Cool in the baking tray for a while and then move to cooling rack.
