    Tips & Tricks

    Use Sweetened Coconut

Sweetened shredded coconut helps the macaroons stay moist and chewy.

    Don't Overbeat Egg Whites

Only whisk until frothy. Overbeating can make the texture dry.

    Watch the Last Few Minutes

Coconut browns quickly. Check frequently during the final 5 minutes.

    Cool Completely Before Dipping

Warm macaroons can cause the chocolate coating to slide off.

     Better Chocolate Coating

Add 1 teaspoon coconut oil to melted chocolate for a smoother, shinier finish.

     Extra Bakery-Style Look

Drizzle additional chocolate over the tops after dipping, just like premium bakery macaroons.

    Pro Baker's Secret

After shaping the macaroons, chill them for 15 minutes before baking. This helps them hold their shape and creates the beautifully textured, golden peaks seen in the ima
