These buttery marble biscuits combine delicious vanilla and chocolate swirls in every bite. This easy homemade biscuit recipe creates bakery-style cookies with a stunning marble look and rich flavor.
🥮 Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
👩🍳 Instructions
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add egg and vanilla essence.
- Mix flour and baking powder into dough.
- Divide dough into two portions.
- Mix cocoa powder into one portion.
- Roll both doughs with rolling pin.
- Place the chocolate dough on top of the vanilla dough and roll gently to create a marble effect.
- Now refrigerate for half an hour to set the roll.
- Cut into biscuit shapes.
- Bake at 180°C for 12–15 minutes.
- Cool completely on cooling rack before serving.
- Store in an air tight jar.
