These strawberry ice cream cake rolls combine soft sponge cake with creamy strawberry ice cream filling for the ultimate chilled dessert. Sweet, refreshing, and perfect for summer parties or family treats.🍴Ingredients
For Sponge Cake
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup flour
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- few drops of Pink food color
Filling
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- Fresh strawberries slices
- Whipping cream for topping
👩🍳Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Ina bowl, add eggs and sugar and beat until fluffy.
- Add vanilla and flour gently.
- Pour batter into greased and lined baking tray.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Roll warm cake in towel and cool.
- Unroll carefully and spread softened ice cream.
- Add strawberry slices.
- Roll tightly again.
- Freeze for 2–3 hours before slicing.
- Now add whipping cream and strawberry slices on top and serve chilled.
