🥨 Crispy Namak Paary – Traditional Tea Time Snack at Home

    🥨☕ Crunchy Homemade Namak Paary Recipe

        These crispy namak paary are a classic South Asian savory snack made with flour, butter, and simple spices. Perfect with chai, they stay crunchy for days and are ideal for Ramadan, Eid, or evening tea gatherings.


    Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp semolina (optional for crunch)
  • 3 tbsp oil or ghee
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for frying

    Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt, ajwain, cumin, semolina, and oil.
  2. Add water gradually to form stiff dough.
  3. Rest dough for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Roll out and cut into rectangle/square shapes(any shape of your choice).
  5. Deep fry on medium heat until golden and crispy.
