Crispy Potato Cutlets Recipe | Easy Tea Time Snack with Simple Ingredients

Ingredients:
- Potato 1/2 kg
- Salt to taste
- Red Chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
- Red chili flakes 1/2 tsp
- Coriander seeds 1 tsp
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves 1/2 cup(finely chopped)
- Oil for fry
For Batter
- Gram flour 1 cup
- Red Chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Water as required
Cooking Method:
- Boil the potatoes adding 1 tsp of salt in it.
- Strain and mash potatoes when boiled.
- In a mixing bowl, add boiled potato, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, red chili flakes, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and mix well with hands.
- Now make small balls or cutlets shape as you like.
- Add all batter ingredients in a mixing bowl and make a smooth paste for coating.
- Dip the balls or cutlets in batter and deep fry in oil until golden brown.
- Serve with ketchup or green sauce of your choice.
